From business meetings to cocktail receptions, Char is your home for private dining events in Memphis! Our rooms can accommodate groups large and small for meetings, receptions, and seated lunch, dinner, or brunch events.
The Woodland & Bluff Rooms can accommodate up to 14 and 40 guests, respectively. The Bluff Room is adorned with white tablecloths and a historic mural of Downtown Memphis; The Woodland Room is a more intimate space featuring a custom, handcrafted wooden table and expansive windows. Both rooms are separated from the main dining room by frosted sliding wooden doors for a fully private dining experience for your group. Audio visual capabilities and wifi are available for presentations at no additional charge.
To book the private rooms, a signed contract agreeing to the food and beverage minimum, a valid credit card and event deposit are required. The event deposit is 20% of the food and beverage minimum and is due at the time of booking; it is applied towards your event charges on the day of your event.
